TV and film veteran Nestor Serrano, currently starring in the Relativity Media film "Act Of Valor", appears in Wounded Warrior Project's PSA (public service announcement) for The Carry Forward Awards™. Every day in big cities and small towns across America, selfless individuals give of themselves to support our wounded service members through Wounded Warrior Project. The mission of Wounded Warrior Project is to honor and empower wounded warriors and to foster the most successful, well-adjusted generation of wounded warriors in this nation's history.
In the PSA, Nestor explains that The Carry Forward Awards™ will be a special event to honor the unsung heroes who are supporting our wounded warriors, which will take place in Anaheim, California on October 21, 2012. Wounded Warriors and celebrities will share the stage to honor these caring people in a very special celebration and awards ceremony. The funds raised at the event will go to further Wounded Warrior Project's programs to care for our injured service members.
