Actor Kevin Sorbo is known for his roles in some of the biggest Sci-Fi movies and television series like Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Kull the Conqueror, Meet the Spartans and Andromeda. Sorbo has stepped into the arena of dramatic actors with his latest movie “God’s Not Dead”.
Sorbo plays Radisson a Philosophy professor who believes God does not exist and he challenges his students on Gods very existence. This is what Sorbo had to say about taking on this role according to Beliefnet, “Loved the script. As an actor I am drawn to many personalities and this one just seemed like a chance to show people no matter where you are in your life, you can make find a place and time to redeem yourself and find the hope you either shut out or thought was no longer available to you.”
The film is playing in over 1800 theaters across the country including several locations in Arizona at the Harkins Theaters. The film also stars actor Dean Cain of Superman fame and Duck Dynasty stars Willie and Korie Robertson.
Sorbo has been an active supporter of Muhammad Ali’s charity event Celebrity Fight Night which is held once a year in Scottsdale Arizona at the JW Marriot resort and spa. This year’s event takes place on Saturday April 12. Celebrity Fight Night is celebrating 20 years and has raised $87 million for the Muhammad Ali Parkinson’s center and other charities.
