Activision reveals 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows'

The rumors have been put to rest as Activision revealed "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows" along with an announcement trailer. "Out of the Shadows" is being developed by Red Fly Studios, the team behind the Wii ports of "Ghostbusters: The Video Game." The downloadable title is a third person brawler based on the Nickelodeon animated series and will feature a four player online co-op. According to Digital Spy, the game will utilize a "hyper-realistic 3D style" and "true-to-life environments." The game is also said to be the first of three Ninja Turtles games under Activision's reign.

"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows" will be available this summer on the Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network, and Steam. There has been no mention of a specific release date or cost of the game.
