Activision celebrates the PS3 release of the Revolution DLC for 'Black Ops 2' (Photos)

Activision yesterday revealed a new “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” teaser on the official “Call of Duty” Twitter account in order to celebrate last week’s release of the game’s first DLC add-on, Revolution, on Playstation 3 and PC. The Revolution DLC has been available to Xbox 360 owners for over a month now, but the add-on finally hit the PS3 and PC, for the first time, this past Thursday. There are no plans for the DLC to ever release for the Wii U version of the game.

The Revolution DLC adds new multiplayer maps for use in “Call of Duty: Black Ops 2,” in addition to a new map for the game’s zombie mode. Also included in the DLC is a new weapon to use and a brand new mode for the game that allows gamers to play as a zombie for the first time as they hunt down survivor players in a new competitive multiplayer mode exclusive to the new add-on.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 2” is out now on the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, PC, and Nintendo’s Wii U.
