On March 6 Activision announced "Devastation", the second expantion for Infinity Ward's "Call of Duty: Ghosts". The DLC features a new hybrid weapon called "Ripper" and four new maps for multiplayer, and will launch on Xbox 360 and Xbox One in April.
Activision also teased that another film character will appear in the new content, though it is currently unclear who this character will be. The "Onslaught" DLC featured Michael Myers of "Halloween" fame in it's multiplayer mode.
Players can try "Call of Duty: Ghosts" for free this weeked on Xbox 360 and Xbox One by downloading the multiplayer demo, which will be available from March 7-10. This is the first time Activision has released a multiplayer demo for a game.
The DLC will cost players fifteen dollars as a standalone purchase, and is included with the DLC pass. The first DLC, "Onslaught", launched a few months ago in January and is now available on all platforms.
