Active NBA players with the most rebounds in a game
1. Kevin Love - 31
Kevin Love is the active player in the NBA today who has grabbed the most rebounds in a game with 31. Love grabbed the 31 rebounds in a game on November 12, 2010 for the Minnesota Timberwolves vs the New York Knicks.
Kevin Love also had 31 points in that game, as he led Minnesota to a 112-103 win. Love's 31-31 game was the first time in 28 years in the NBA that a player had 30 points and 30 rebounds in a game.
2. Andrew Bynum - 30
Andrew Bynum has the second most rebounds in a game among active NBA players with 30. Bynum grabbed the 30 rebounds for the Los Angeles Lakers on April 11, 2012 vs the San Antonio Spurs. Andrew Bynum also had 16 points in the game, as he led the Lakers to a 98-84 win.
Kevin Love and Andrew Bynum are the only active NBA players to have grabbed 30 or more rebounds in a game.
3. Nikola Vucevic - 29
On December 31, 2012, Nikola Vucevic of the Orlando Magic had 29 rebounds in a game vs the Miami Heat. Vucevic also had 20 points in the game, but the Heat beat the Magic, 112-110, in OT.
4. Tyson Chandler - 28
On February 27, 2013, Tyson Chandler of the New York Knicks set a career high with 28 rebounds in a game vs the Golden State Warriors. Chandler also had 16 points, as he led the Knicks to a 109-105 win, in a game that Stephen Curry had 11 threes for the Warriors.
T-5. Tim Duncan - 27
Tim Duncan set his career high for rebounds in a game on January 27, 2010, when he had 27 rebounds for the San Antonio Spurs in a game vs the Atlanta Hawks. Duncan also had 21 points in the game, as he led the Spurs to a 105-90 win.
T-5. Andrew Bogut - 27
Andrew Bogut grabbed 27 rebounds for the Milwaukee Bucks in a game vs the Miami Heat on January 7, 2011. Bogut also had 12 points, but the Heat won the game, 101-95, in OT.
T-5. Marcus Camby - 27
Playing for the Los Angeles Clippers, Marcus Camby had 27 rebounds in a game vs the Chicago Bulls on December 17, 2008. Camby also had 19 points, but the Bulls won the game, 115-109, in OT.
T-8. Dwight Howard - 26 (twice)
Two times in his career, Dwight Howard has grabbed 26 rebounds in a game. The first time was in 2006 for the Orlando Magic, and the second time was on January 6, 2013 for the Lakers.
T-8. Al Jefferson - 26 (twice)
Al Jefferson has also grabbed 26 rebounds in a game twice in his career. The first time was in 2010 for the Timberwolves, and the second time was in 2012 for the Utah Jazz.

On March 22, 2008, Joel Przybilla of the Portland Trail Blazers had 26 rebounds in a game vs the Los Angeles Clippers. Joel also had 14 points, as he led Portland to a 83-72 win.

On January 27, 2008, Andris Biedrins of the Golden State Warriors grabbed 26 rebounds in a game vs the Knicks. Biedrins also had 11 points, as the Warriors won the game, 106-104.
