Action Alert: City Hall Rally, Tuesday, December 14

Help Save The Popular Hollywood Farmers' Market

As I wrote about last week, the Hollywood Farmers' Market is in danger of having to cut down in size dramatically and/or relocate some of its over 120 vendors due to a dispute over parking with a nearby business, the Los Angeles Film School. Despite meetings between the two parties and City officials, the issue has still not been settled.

On Tuesday, December 14, 2010, the newly formed Save the Hollywood Farmers Market Coalition will conduct a protest outside Los Angeles City Hall.

The group is encouraging all those interested in gathering outside Los Angeles City Hall at 9:00 a.m., located at 200 N. Main St. Los Angeles City Hall. They will have a press conference on the lawn at 10:00 a.m and the group will speak during public comment and on Item #17 on the Council Agenda.
