Acting vs special effects in X-Men Origins: Wolverine

Anxiously we all awaited to view and enjoy X-Men Origins: Wolverine.  No exception to the rule, X-Men is popular and so is Hugh Jackman.

Special effects, to no one's surprise, ran rampant in the X-Men Origins: Wolverine, not unlike in the other X-Men films.  But that is okay.  After all, what would an X-Men film be without special effects.

The cast, itself, spoke for the film, and they actually did get some acting in as well.

When there wasn't something being blown up, "people" jumping about from wall to wall, body parts morphating, evil science experiments gone awry, naked man in barn hiding, vehicle and fighting stunt action...

then there was the acting & music too!

Each actor, well known, or newer to the big screen, gave it his or her all.  The characters were true to life, not necessarily true to real life, but as true as a mutant can be.

One would only know this from being at least a bit familiar with the past X-Men films.
