Farrah Fawcett is from Corpus Christi, Texas. Her name was later changed to "Farrah" as Farah is an Arabic word for joy.

Around the same time, her swimsuit poster was released. It went on to sell a still-unrivaled 12 million copies and she became known for her tousled hair and bright smile.

I always followed Farrah's films and her reality TV show, and I usually do not like them.
Would like to see the documentary too.
What I meant by "usually do not like them" was not liking reality shows. Hers was unique. Liked "meeting" her parents - although her mother passed away during shooting the shows.
I just got done watching Farrah's story and i have to say it hit me hard, you see i lost my dad to cancer (lung) in nov 01 and it was the hardest thing i had to go through seeing him that way and trying not to show him my hurt. He never showed he was scared but deep down he was terrified and all he worried about was that my mom would be ok. I just want all to know that i respect Farrah for what she has done and for not giving up i wish her the best and my pray's are with her and her family, and as for Ryan o'neil all i have to say is what a great man he is to stand by her and to love her the way he does. anyone please e-mail me at schupcavich@yahoo.com with any comments or to just talk very into helping with the fight of cancer.
