The Marin County Sheriff's Office is researching the passing of performing artist/entertainer Robin Williams in Tiburon, Calif., north of San Francisco.
As indicated by a press statement issued by the coroner's division of the sheriff's office, Williams was discovered oblivious and not breathing inside his home in Tiburon around August 11, 2014, at noon, and was pronounced dead soon after.
The press release has recognized him by his full name, Robin Mclaurin Williams, 63.
The coroner suspects the demise was "a suicide through asphyxia", however an extensive examination must be finished before any final determinations are made. A coroner's examination is presently set for Tuesday, the press statement said.
Williams' rep affirmed his death to USA TODAY, Entertainment Weekly, and many others.
"Robin Williams passed away today," said Mara Buxbaum, president of his PR firm. "He has been suffering through extreme discouragement recently. This is a sudden misfortune. The family requests their privacy as they make it through this exceptionally troublesome time."
Williams' last tweet and Instagram was on July 31, when he wished his little girl, Zelda Rae, a happy 25th birthday and posted a picture of himself with her. "Forever my child," he subtitled the photograph.
"There truly are no words to portray the loss of Robin Williams," FOX heads have stated.
Williams, who won an Oscar for his supporting part in Good Will Hunting, had plans to reprise his role of Mrs. Doubtfire.
As reported by E! News, the legend has left a legacy behind and Hollywood stars have began outpouring their grief.
