Paris Whitney Hilton is an American socialite, media personality, model, singer and actress.  Posed here with once boyfriend, Doug Reinhardt, baseball athlete and actor in the reality television show, The Hills.

Hilton is known for her appearnce on television's The Simple Life. Her several minor film roles (most notably her role in the horror film House of Wax in 2005), her 2004 autobiography, her 2006 album Paris, and her work in modeling.

She has made cameo appearances in several films, such as Zoolander, Wonderland, and The Cat In The Hat. She landed minor and supporting roles in the feature films Nine Lives, Raising Helen, The Hillz, and House of Wax. 

Films have been a good part of Paris' life.  Once, even a trial was delayed over a film.

Her role as Paige Edwards in House of Wax won the Teen Choice Award for "Best Scream" and earned her a nomination for "Choice Breakout Performance – Female".

Paris landed her first lead roles in 2006 with the straight-to-DVD releases National Lampoon's Pledge This! aHilton has made cameo appearances in several films, notably Zoolander, Wonderland, and The Cat In The Hat.

Paris landed minor and supporting roles in many feature films, but after numerous unfavourable reviews from critics regarding her acting talents, Hilton announced she was retiring from acting in films on May 25, 2009.  But Paris said she would reconsider if given the chance to work with Quentin Tarantino.

In television Hilton co-starred with Nicole Richie in the Fox reality series The Simple Life, which premiered on December 2, 2003. The Simple Life ran for three seasons on Fox. The show was cancelled by Fox after a dispute between Hilton and Richie, but it was subsequently aired by E! Entertainment Television for the fourth and fifth seasons.

Hilton also guest-starred in episodes of The O.C., The George Lopez Show, Las Vegas, American Dreams, Dogg After Dark...  She, too, appeared in several music videos and guest starred on My Name is Earl, episode, "I Won't Die with a Little Help from My Friends."  Is Paris Hilton's Dubai BFF show going to happen?
