Abuse Counseling and Treatment, Inc. has been named the representing charity for the River District Ramble. Arts for ACT Gallery and Boutique will be open the night of the event and will give Ramble participants 50% off of all clothing, shoes or non-artist jewelry and/or 10% off of any art purchase.
The River District Ramble will be held on Saturday, April 6, 2013 from 6-11 p.m. The Ramble is a monthly ladies night out event with special drink/food items at most downtown restaurants and discount shopping at select downtown retail stores. Downtown business are also donating items to be raffled off that night.
Here's the way it works. Participants check in at a raffle station in the Patio De Leon courtyard behind Cabos Cantina off First Street. There they purchase a $15 bracelet. The bracelet is their passport to savings, entitling participants to discounts on food, happy hour pricing on beverages all night long, and discounts in retail shops. Since almost every downtown store is participating, participants will quickly recoup the cost of the bracelet.
Ramble tee shirts are also available for $10.00.
The River District Ramble was started by Sharon Brotherton, Dannielle Schultz and Jamie Stuart.
