The third in this series of articles about the new features in Sage ACT! 2011 is about the introduction to and integration of business info using Hoover’s online information service.
Officially called Sage Business Info Services, there are 3 levels of service. The free version shows you basic company information as it exists on Hoover’s. This allows you to update your contact information against the latest on Hoover’s. The second level, called Reference, allows you to import contact information directly from Hoover’s in order to perform marketing and sales activities for your firm. In addition to contact info you can also get email alerts for a contact as well as a list of competitors for a contact.
The third level gives you all of Reference’s features as well as importing these companies as leads directly into your ACT! database.
