Acqualina Resort & Spa, one of South Florida’s more luxurious properties, is hosting a New Year’s Eve extravaganza, called “Out of Africa,” that incorporate a gourmet menu and world-class entertainment.
Located in Sunny Isles Beach north of Miami Beach, Acqualina Resort & Spa is located on 4.5 beachfront acres and features 98 appointed guest rooms and suites and 188 residences with
views of Atlantic Ocean
Out of Africa will offer guests four options to ring in the New Year in style including a dedicated kids-only New Year’s Eve party:
-Dinner with celebratory champagne toast- $295/adult & $147/ kids 12 & under
-Dinner with open bar and DJ party- $350/adult
-Open bar and DJ party only- $125/adult
-Kids-only Safari New Year’s Eve Bash- $85/child -- 8:30 p.m. – 12:30 a.m.
The evening’s festivities begin at 9 p.m. Guests who select the dinner option will enjoy
the resort’s interactive food stations. With indoor and outdoor seating available, stations will
include gourmet dishes such as charred lamb kabobs served over barley and ostrich bobotie; seared
prime strip steaks; and giant prawn cocktail with spicy tomato jam; a premium wine tasting station
featuring a selection of the finest South African wine; and a dessert station with an array of South African-inspired dishes.
Special dessert beverages such as Amarula cream and rooibos tea will also be available.
Guests who select the open bar and DJ party option will enjoy live music, an open premium bar
and specialty drinks prepared by the resort’s mixologist. Fire dancers will entertain while soft tribal
drumming fills the air. The VIP party will be set poolside in an African setting with tiki
torches and lanterns.
The resort has also added another unique component to evening. From 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 p.m.,
kids are invited to celebrate at a dedicated kids-only Safari New Year’s Eve Bash. Guests
ages four to 12 will have their own DJ and activities, including a video game station, an Out
of Africa photo booth, Safari stuff-an-animal contest, mask making and a kid’s dinner buffet menu.
The kids-only party allows families to celebrate the night all under one roof with individual
experiences to leave lasting memories. This event is available to Acqualina hotel guests and
residents and to local patrons who have a dinner reservation at Il Mulino or Acqualina’s Out of
Africa event on Dec. 31.
