Acme Fall Festival

Festival time: 10-5 pm
Come early for the pancake breakfast from 7-11 am, admission is $7
For the apple and cherry pie contest, all baked goods must be delivered by 10 am, no exceptions! Judging begins at 2:30 pm.
Craft show, live demonstrations, silent auction and raffle throughout the day!
Kids activities will range from pumpkin coloring, pony rides, bounce house, wings of wonder show (NOON ONLY), petting zoo and much more!
In the book nook, from 11-3 pm, there will be various Michigan children's authors to read and who will be reading and signing.
Antique and classic car, truck and tractor show will be on view throughout the day. Registration is from 8-10 am and the fee is $10 for those entering their antiques or classics (or both). The first 75 people who register will receive a goodie bag. Prizes will be awarded at 3:30 pm to the Top 20 and Best of Show. You don't want to miss the tractor parade at 4 pm!!
The most exciting event all day is that 9 & 10 News will be hosting the pet expo and adoption day from 11-2 pm! Save a life! It might even be your own!!
Feeling hungry with all these activities and you haven't eaten since breakfast? The chicken BBQ is from 11-5 pm. Tickets are $10 and include 1/4 whole chicken, corn on the cob, baked beans, cole slaw, potato salad and a drink. Tickets may be purchased in advance at Woodland Sweets & Ace Hardware in Acme.
There will be a food tent up and on-hand with local cherry brats, hot dogs, caramel apples and other yummy treats.
There will be live entertainment all day, from 10-5 pm. Entertainers will include the Senior Center Network Line Dancers, Rob Abate, the Nexus Band, Hear & Now, The New Jazz Trio & Nick Vasquez.
