ACM Awards 2014: Nominees, red carpet live stream and TV information

Oklahoma Blake Shelton is set to host the 2014 ACM Awards along with Luke Bryan live from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas tonight. The Academy of Country Music Awards will air a red carpet live stream and on live TV for the enjoyment of country music fans who were not able to be in Vegas to experience the awards live, according to an April 6 Billboard report.

Other Oklahomans featured in tonight's ACM Awards 2014 include Miranda Lambert, Carrie Underwood, and Garth Brooks to name just a few. These stars will be presenting, performing, or are up for awards.

The ACM Awards 2014 nominees include Miranda Lambert and Tim McGraw who are nominated for seven awards. Nominated for six awards is Keith Urban. Then, Lee Brice, Blake Shelton, Taylor Swift, and Kacey Musgraves are each nominated for five awards each. Fans are still able to vote online for their favorite artists in the Entertainer of the Year and New Artist of the Year categories. Be sure to vote soon and help decide the winners in these two categories.

Among the night's performances are Dierks Bentley and Sheryl Crow singing "I Hold On" while Brad Paisley debuts his new single "River Bank." Another of the night's biggest performances will be Florida Georgia Line and Lady Antebellum with Stevie Nicks. Meanwhile, Miranda Lambert and George Strait will perform in tribute to Merle Haggard. Other performers at tonight's ACM Awards include Lee Brice, Darius Rucker, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw, Jason Aldean, Eric Church, Hunter Hayes, Brett Eldredge, Toby Keith, Justin Moore, Kip Moore, Shakira, George Strait, and Keith Urban. It is sure to be a night of must-see entertainment for country music fans and just general music fans alike.

The ACM Awards 2014 red carpet pre-show is slated to last for 90 minutes, and you can catch a livestream video of the red carpet at This pre-show starts at 5:30 p.m. CDT. Then, at 7 p.m. CDT, tune into CBS (OKC channel 9) to catch the Academy of Country Music Awards 2014 on live TV.
