Achieving success even without a goal in mind

The beginning of the year is the perfect time to start a writing plan. Think about what is most important to you today and take steps toward that goal every day, It doesn’t matter if the steps are baby ones, each one is a step forward. In order to ensure success, you should start your plan now and not allow for any delays midstream.

Do not dismiss this idea because you do not have a solid goal like writing your first novel or getting published, or because you do not feel you have enough time to achieve a goal. Start with something like granting yourself guilt-free writing time. Everyday take time to jot something down in a journal even if it is just a new word, or a sentence that strikes your fancy. These small endeavors will keep the creative juices flowing and feed your daily desire to write. Ultimately this exercise can lead you to achieving a larger goal like writing that novel.
