Vincent Mickle, 32, of Teesdale St. in the northeast section of Philadelphia was arrested and charged with unlawful contact with a minor, and other charges. Police said that Mickle would set up a fake Myspace page, posing as an 18 year old man and then friend young , teenage girls. He would then, allegedly exchange pornographic photos with them, police said.
"He was patient", said Captain John Darby, of the Special Victims Unit. He would then escalate to meeting his victims in his Northeast Philadelphia Row House. It was there, police said that the accused pedophile would offer his victims alcohol and drugs, and then engage in sexual activity with them.
Mickle was also a coach for girls soccer at Lighthouse Field. None of the victims are associated with this at this time. Mickle also briefly coached the Holy Terrors Squad but was fired after authorities told his superiors of the investigation.
The investigation started when he met one of his Myspace friends at Frankford and Cottman Aves. He then asked for sex but was rebuked. The girl informed her parents who notified police. The accused pedophile's activities have been going on for some time, at least since 2007, police said..
Mickle is being held on $300 thousand bail.
