Accidentally on Purpose: New Jenna Elfman comedy on CBS

Accidentally on Purpose is a cute, funny new comedy premiering on CBS this fall. It stars Jenna Elfman (Dharma and Greg) as a single career woman who winds up pregnant after a fling with a much younger guy.

Although the plot may seem somewhat similar to that of Judd Apatow's Knocked Up, Accidentally on Purpose is based on a book of the same name written by Mary Pols. Jenna's character, Billie, and her young "boy toy" Zack (Jon Foster) decide to live together platonically. However, she hadn't planned for his friends to take over.

Other members of the cast as Grant Show as Billie's boss/ex-boyfriend, Ashley Jensen as Billie's co-worker and good friend Olivia,  Lennon Parham as Abby, Billie's conventional, younger sister and Nicholas Wrights as Davis, one of Zach's freeloading friends. They all seem perfectly cast in their roles.

I enjoyed the premiere episode. I liked the chemistry between Billie and Zach. Check out this video preview and see what you think:

Accidentally on Purpose premieres Monday, September 21st at 8:30pm on CBS.
