Cameron Indoor was rocking as the Duke Blue Devils made their return to action against Georgia Tech on Jan. 17, 2013, for the first time since their heart breaking defeat to North Carolina State. The Cameron Crazies were out in full force as they helped their team to a 57-73 victory.
A double double of 16 points and 13 rebounds from Mason Plumlee lead the Blue Devils back to the promised land but it was not without some first half frustrations that saw the home side trailing 28-27 in a low scoring opening period.
The Blues Devils however, came to life in the second half as they jumped on the visiting Yellow Jackets outscoring them 29-46 in the deciding period.
Duke guard Seth Curry and off the bench substitute Rasheed Sulaimon went a combined 9-11 from behind the three point line to punish the Yellow Jackets who left the No.3 ranked team with plenty of outside shooting room for the majority of the night.
In the end it appears that order was restored to the ACC as Duke improved their record to 16-1 in all play and 3-1 in the ACC.
