AC Pup, Santa Claus make an appearance at La'Berry Dec. 8

La' Berry Frozen Yogurt Cafe has pledged 20 percent of all proceeds from sales tomorrow, Dec. 8, to help the homeless pets in Central Georgia.

The fundraising event begins at 11 a.m. and ends when the cafe closes at 11 p.m.

Santa Claus and Central Georgia CARES mascot AC Pup will be at the cafe from 1 to 2 p.m. Bring your camera!

Central Georgia CARES and AC Pup provide education for the community on pet care and pet adoption, and are hosts of the CARES Homeless Pet Club in Macon. The non-profit organization also hosts vaccination clinics, low cost spay/neuter clinics and mobilize a large group of supporters for emergency pet situations and lost and found pets.

La' Berry is located at 4646 Forsyth Road in Macon, in the Kroger shopping center. AC Pup promises to wear his new Christmas tie for the event and give out plenty of Christmas sugar.

If you're not a fan of frozen yogurt, the restaurant will also have coffee, hot apple cider and hot chocolate on hand.
