Absu, metal showcases confirmed for Chaos in Tejas 2012

So you're not going to the Maryland Death Fest this year? Well, Chaos in Tejas 2012 has formally announced scheduling for the multi-day, multi-venue festival, with Dallas occultists Absu helming the Saturday lineup. The organizers did Texas hessians a favor by building two all-metal showcases for the weekend of June 2nd, though if you want to see Winter you'll have to wade through many a smelly and bleach-covered patch jacket at Mohawk.

The entire schedule is up at the festival website, and other notable weekend acts include Ares Kingdom, Morbosidad, Midnight, and Ghoul.

Absu appeared in Texas most recently in San Antonio, once with Immortal, and then under less ideal conditions as a headliner at the dreaded Bonds 007. Austin's Red 7 is a solid venue with a friendly atmosphere, so this is a great opportunity to catch Proscriptor and company.
