The CW has unleashed their new poster for their TV movie Absolute Justice. Not surprisingly . . it looks absolutely horrendous.
Superman stole his outfit from the Punisher and replaced the skull with an S. Hawkman has the finest costume special effects from the 80s could hope to offer. Stargirl bought the female Captain America costume from her local halloween warehouse, donned a cheap mask and called it a day. WHERE DID DR. FATE GET THAT BIG ASS HELMET FROM?!?! It looks completely ludicrous adorning his skull. At least Hawkeye looks relatively cool - oh wait - thats Green Arrow.
I thought I was disappointed by the lack of effort put into Doomsday on Smallville, but it seems that Absolute Justice seeks to aim just a little bit lower. Hopefully we will be seeing something decent with regards to the story, but realistically does anybody really want to see any of these characters on their TV? None of them, save Supes and GA, really even have books that people still read. Wouldn't it be smarter for DC Entertainment to promote their other mega character and put a younger Bruce Wayne on the show and feature the character as he develops his talents?
Regardless this movie has the potential to be great, but I'll keep my expectations low just in case.
