ABC 'Wipeout' coming back in 2014 - Casting call just announced

Mystic Arts, the producers of ABC's 'Wipeout' have just announced that they will begin casting for the upcoming season of the hit obstacle course challenge.

Open casting calls will begin in January of 2014. The first open casting call will take place in Los Angeles at the producers studios in Burbank. 'Wipeout' fans that do not live in Los Angeles can send a video to the producers for a chance to get on the show.

'Wipeout' features courageous participants competing in what has been called the “world’s largest obstacle course“. Contestants chosen have to perform some incredible, and comical, physical stunts which includes traversing huge moving mazes and giant red balls. The course is set above a giant pool of water and one wrong move dunks the contestants into the pool.

This year they are looking for all sorts of people which include sororities, fraternities, families, executives, nerdy guys and people with lots of piercings and tattoos. There are a few requirements. All contestants must be 18 or older to be considered and they need to be able to swim.

The show is a lot of fun to watch and I would imagine participating would be a blast. Also, there is a cash prize of $50,000 which one lucky and wet participant will walk away with.
