“The Bachelor” star Juan Pablo may speak English for his second language, but it sounds like his recent comments shocked many viewers. He revealed that he thought that bisexuals and gays should not have a chance at finding love on the show because it wasn’t for children to watch and he thought that gays were more perverted. According to a new Wetpaint Entertainment report published on Jan. 21, “The Bachelor” star Juan Pablo’s comments about seeing gay people on the show didn’t seem to rattle viewers too much.

After the comments spread like wildfire online, ABC issued a statement, saying that his views were not those of the network. But it sounds like his statements did not rattle those who are following his journey. “The show got a 2.3 rating with a 6 rating share score, pulling in 7.82 million viewers,” reveals the report, which was very close to the original episode, which had 7.88 viewers.

It sounds like people were willing to accept his apology, even though he slammed an entire group of people. Even his gay friends reached out to defend him on Twitter. Will you continue to watch his journey?
