ABC's 'The Bachelor 2012' Episode 8 spoilers: The hometown dates

Next Monday on ABC’s The Bachelor 2012, Ben Flajnik takes his final four ladies to their hometowns to meet their families. The Bachelor spoilers have given fans a lot to chew on, and ABC’s Tuesday press release fills in a lot of gaps. Which hometown dates will go well and will any be a disaster? Reality Steve spoilers have already told fans who is said to be going home, but fans are anxious to get more detail regarding what happens on each date.

First Ben heads to Ocala, FL for his date with Lindzi Cox. Her parents are described as being fun-loving, and they spend time at the family horse farm. Lindzi opens up about the heartbreak she endured when her last relationship ended, and her parents notice how different she is with Ben. Will her family embrace Ben in Lindzi’s life?

When Ben Flajnik goes to Kacie Boguskie’s hometown of Clarksville, TN, he is greeted by a marching band with baton-twirling Kacie in the lead. They share a picnic on the football field, which happens to be named after her grandfather. Boguskie shares the heartwarming love story of her grandparents, but it sounds like things may not go smoothly when Ben meets Kacie’s dad. ABC teases, “Will he give Ben his blessing, or will this spell trouble for the couple’s future?”

Next comes Nicki Sterling’s date in Ft. Worth, TX, where they shop for cowboy boots and other Texan gear. She warns Ben her family may be skeptical after her heartbreaking divorce, particularly her father. ABC teases that Nicki and her dad share a “tearful and guilt-filled discussion over her failed marriage,” and some old wounds are healed. How will this affect Ben and Nicki’s relationship?

Last is Courtney Robertson’s date in Scottsdale. The Bachelor spoilers have already teased that Courtney’s mom may not be entirely on-board with this match, and it seems this will be apparent during the hometown date. Courtney’s mother is said to doubt whether Courtney is in love, but will it affect Ben and Courtney’s relationship? ABC teases that Courtney is steadfast in wanting to be with Ben and “summons her courage to tell Ben how she feels about him in a romantic, over-the-top setting.”

Everybody then heads back to Los Angeles, where Ben has to send one woman home again. ABC shares that “Ben is stymied by the fact that he can see himself falling in love with all four women,” but there are only three roses. It is said to be a “tense and emotionally wrenching rose ceremony,” and fans are probably not going to like the result. Reality Steve spoilers indicate that Kacie Boguskie is left without a rose. The remaining three ladies will head to Switzerland with Ben, but it is said that Kacie makes an appearance there as well.

Tune in Monday night to ABC’s The Bachelor 2012 to see all of the hometown dates. Episode 8 airs February 20, 2012.
