ABC's 'Revenge' casts 'Rome' alum as Madeline Stowe love interest

We have a new bit of casting when it comes to the upcoming season of "Revenge" -- and this one may certain surprise (and please) a few people.

According to a new report from "The Insider," former "Rome" star James Purefoy is set to come on the freshman drama for an arc beginning in episode 17 for Madeline Stowe's Hampstons staple Victoria.

There's not too much known about Purefoy's character just yet -- but we are already predicting this to be more than a little bit steamy.
