ABC's 'Lost:' Damon Lindelof promises questions with the finale

If you were hoping that ABC's "Lost" would use the finale as a way to tie all of the show's mysteries together in a neat little bow, then be ready for disappointment. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, the show's executive producer proclaims that the ending is not going to stray from the theme of the show:

"We're trying to end Lost in a way that feels 'Lost'-ian and fair and will generate a tremendous amount of theorizing. We're going to be as definitive as we can be and say this is our ending, but there's no way to end the show where the fans aren't going to say, 'What did they mean by this?' Which is why we're not going to explain it."

Some of the biggest questions leading in to the May 23 finale right now involve the "flash sideways" technique that has been employed for much of the season, along with the good vs. evil power struggle that is going on between the "candidates" to replace Jacob and the Man in Black inside of John Locke's body.

Do you have any expectations going into the "Lost" finale? Feel free to share your thoughts below and check back soon for more news.

So long as they let Desmond, Penny and Charlie (both their son and, the hopefully-to-be-resurrected, Charlie Pace), oh, and Hurley, live happily ever after, I couldn't give a monkey about the island or Jack or the Man in Black or the four-toed statue... Or any wells!
