Over 30,000,000 viewers tuned in last week for ABC's 'Dancing with the Stars' 2010 premier, making it the most watched premier in Dancing with the Stars history. Night one treated fans to humor, grace, tears and sizzling sensuality from the eleven celebrity contestants. Some of the performances were amazing, some were not, but all were entertaining.
Week two of ABC's 'Dancing with the Stars 2010 premier proved to be just as exciting.
Nicole Scherzinger and professional partner, Derek Hough earned the first perfect score of a ten from judges, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli for their "modern" Jive. These two judges found the dance perfect, the best Jive ever seen for the second week of Dancing with the Stars. Len Goodman, however, found the performance ambivalent, suggesting that the two choose a style of dance more to his taste and only awarded them an eight.
Erin Andrews danced her heart out, trying to improve the score of 21 she received for her Cha Cha on week one of ABC's 'Dancing with the Stars' 2010 premier. She and professional partner, Maksim Chmerkovskiy, danced the Fox Trot, earning kudos from the judges for her fluidity, flexibility and ease of movement. These attributes were almost Erin's downfall as her breast, fluidly eased from her costume, during a wardrobe malfunction.
Erin was saved from an embarrassing moment of monumental proportions by hiding behind Maksim while she covered her exposed flesh. Dancing with the Stars fans would have never suspected had it not been for the look on Maksim's face, and Erin stating that she had to cover herself up, due to a wardrobe malfunction. This little mishap did not affect her score, she received a 23 from the 'Dancing with the Stars' judges.
In week one of ABC's 'Dancing with the Stars' 2010 premier, Pamela Anderson heated up the dance floor with a sexy Cha Cha. This week, Pamela and professional partner, Damian Whitewood, performed a sensual Fox Trot which prompted Len Goodman to believe she had been "titivating" herself. When called on his critique by fellow judges, Carrie and Bruno, Len defended himself by insisting "titivating" was a real word, "Look it up".
I think we all looked up that peculiar word. ABC's 'Dancing with the Stars' is not only exciting, it is educational as well.
