On Dec. 2, ABC revealed on Media Net new details about Juan Pablo’s spin on “The Bachelor” to find true and everlasting love. According to the press release, this season’s highlights include private concerts by Romeo Santos, Josh Krajcik and 2NE1. Plus, Juan Pablo Galavis and his bevy of beautiful ladies will enjoy romantic excursions to Seoul, South Korea, Vietnam, New Zealand, Salt Lake City, Miami, plus a spectacular trip to St. Lucia for the overnight dates and season finale.
It all kicks off with a two-night premiere event that airs on Sunday, Jan. 5 and Monday, Jan. 6. First up is “The Bachelor: Countdown to Juan Pablo” on Sunday. The new Bachelor spends some quality time with his 4-year-old daughter, Camilla. Sean Lowe then surprises Juan Pablo with a surprise visit to offer advice and pointers on dating 27 different women. The preview episode will also feature Juan Pablo’s previous spin on “The Bachelorette” and his failed attempt to win Desiree Hartsock’s heart. He claims that he is ready for love and willing to settle down with the right woman. Fans can’t wait to see him on “The Bachelor” because he was one of last season’s most popular contestants by far.
The premiere of “The Bachelor” starring Juan Pablo airs on Tuesday. Limousines roll up to the mansion as 27 women from all across the country strive to make a lasting impression. Memorable moments include a nurse pulling out a stethoscope, a free-spirited hippie that decides to go barefoot, a vivacious dancer, and a music composer who arrives on a “piano bike.” ABC revealed on Monday that one hopeful even shows up seven months pregnant. Romantic dates this season include ice skating and sledding in a Winter Wonderland, a group photo shoot, a mysterious boat trip through the Tutukau Gorge in New Zealand, a visit to the famed movie set of “The Hobbit,” hometown dates, and finally the gorgeous Caribbean island of St. Lucia. For a different happy ending, fans can watch Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici exchange their “I do’s” on TV on Jan. 26. It will be ABC’s very first LIVE wedding from Bachelor Nation. According to E Online, the two will not only enjoy a million-dollar ceremony, but they’re also receiving a payout in the six-figure range to walk down the aisle in front of millions of TV viewers. Chris Harrison will serve as host and guests will include alumni from “The Bachelor” and “The Bachelorette.” The Stir revealed on Dec. 2 that Sean’s dad, an ordained minister, will perform the highly anticipated ceremony.
