“Forever” will focus on New York City’s star medical examiner, Dr. Henry Morgan. Morgan, unknown to anyone else, is drawn to the study of the dead because he himself is immortal. Detective Jo Martinez will be the tool through which we come to understand Morgan’s life as they work cases together. Matthew Miller, formerly of “Chuck” will executive produce the show for Lin Pictures and Warner Bros. TV.
“Exposed” is a crime-thriller based an adaptation of the novels by Liza Marklund. Her books first inspired the Swedish drama “Annika Bengtzon: Crime Reporter” which is the inspiration for this show. At the epicenter is a crime journalist who will go to any lengths to expose the truth including making alliances with questionable sources. It is written by Charles Randolph who is also executive producing along with Peter Traugott of TBD Entertainment.
“The Visitors” is an alien-based drama based on a Ray Bradbury short story named “Zero Hour.” It will unfold as a race against time to defeat an alien force that is using our most precious resource to destroy our world. ABC Studios is producing, Dawn Olmstead, Soo Hugh, Darryl Frank, Justin Falvey and Steven Spielberg are executive producing.
The Kevin Hart comedy, currently untitled, will focus on the lives of a recently divorced couple as they try to forge a new relationship with one another for the sake of the kids. The order for the pilot is contingent upon the cast selection. Neil Goldman and Garrett Donovan formerly of “Community” will executive produce and write. Hart is likely to have only a recurring role in the series should it get picked up.
