Jamie Oliver, the hot British chef who earlier this year unmasked the evil chicken nugget, is returning to host a second season of his Emmy winning show Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution.
According to Hollywood Reporter, ABC has ordered six new episodes of the reality program which aims to tackle America's obesity crisis one city at a time. Production is scheduled to begin in the coming months for either a midseason or summer run.
Drawing an average of 5.5 million viewers, the critically acclaimed first season followed Oliver's efforts to revamp the lunch program at a West Virginia elementary school. The second season, however, plans to expand the age bracket when it travels to Los Angeles, promoting better eating habits in schools, homes and workplaces.
Now known as the poster boy for anti-obesity, Jamie Oliver rose to fame in the late 90s with the UK series The Naked Chef (contrary to what the title implies, no nudity was involved). Since then, his mission to teach proper eating habits has led to a slew of successful TV ventures including Jamie Oliver's Ministry of Food and Jamie's School Dinners, both of which inspired his first crack at US audiences with Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution.
