When our favorite shows end for the season, there is a sense of loss but ABC has given many fans something to look forward to. TV Guide published a list on July 15 of the networks most prominent shows 2014 fall premiere dates. Dates for shows like “Scandal”, “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Once Upon a Time” and “Dancing with the Stars” can be found below. The announcement includes both returning and new shows.
“Dancing with the Stars” will open its 19th season on Monday, Sept. 15. It will be a two-hour episode. Though the series did away with the results show last season, this season there will be 2 special results shows airing on Tuesday, Sept. 16 and Sept. 23.
The new drama “Forever” will debut on Monday, Sept. 22 and then moves to its regular timeslot on Tuesdays. The second episode will air the next day, following the season premiere of “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.”
The Wednesday night lineup will air all the premieres on Sept. 24. This will include “The Middle”, “The Goldbergs”, “Modern Family” and “Nashville” which will incorporate live musical performances into the premiere.
Thursday, which is affectionately known as Shonda Rhimes night, will see premieres for all three of the writer’s shows. “Grey’s Anatomy”, “Scandal” and the new one, “How to Get Away with Murder” will premiere on Sept. 25.
The Friday night program includes “Shark Tank” followed by “20/20.” These will premiere on Sept. 26.
Sunday, another big night for ABC, will return with “Once Upon a Time”, “Resurrection” and “Revenge” in the playlist. These shows will debut Sept. 28.
“Castle” will premiere on Monday, Sept. 29 and “Selfie” and “Manhattan Love Story” will debut on Tuesday, Sept. 30. “Last Man Standing” will return on Friday, Oct. 3, “America’s Funniest Home Videos” will return Sunday, Oct. 5 and “Cristela” will debut on Friday, Oct. 10.
