AARP will be hosting a free online Virtual Career Fair on Tuesday, June 3, 2014 from 10AM to 7PM (Eastern). AARP is committed to putting people over 50 to work and has lined up numerous employers for this job fair. The Virtual Career Fair takes interested persons through the steps of pre career fair preparation, day of the online event and event followup. During the day of the online event there will be recruiting staff available during the sessions for individual candidate questions. Registered candidates seeking jobs can view the employer posted jobs for 30 days following the Virtual Career Fair.
On the day of the Virtual Career Fair candidates can visit the Fair Plaza which allows navigation to explore the various tabs beginning with the Resource Library which has job information on participating employers and related AARP resources. Another tab is the Exhibit Hall where candidates visit the virtual employer booths. The last tab is the AARP Real Possibilities Lounge that has job search resources with useful expert job search advice.
