Country artist Aaron Tippin has been making music for years now and is best known for the single “You’ve Got to Stand for Something.” He will be performing live at Shenanigans in Huntsville, Texas on Friday February 21, 2014.

Born in Florida Aaron Tippin grew up in a South Carolina farm and made a living in the early years singing in local bars. Eventually he moved to Nashville as a songwriter but he also performed in clubs. His first single “You’ve Got to Stand for Something” was released in 1991 and became a sort of anthem for soldiers in the Gulf War.

Recently he introduced the exclusive album he released for Cracker Barrel Old Country Stores titled He Believed. In Overdrive is his second collection of songs that serves as a tribute to America’s truck drivers with trucker songs like “Prisoner of the Highway” and “Long White Line.” His music is a favorite among the working class including truck drivers and he has had more than 30 singles on the Billboard Hot Country Charts.
