A funeral is planned Saturday for Pfc. Aaron Thomas Nemelka, 19, of West Jordan, Utah. Nemelka was one of the Fort Hood victim’s that died in last week’s shootings. His body was brought back Friday from Texas.
A viewing was held on Friday evening from 6-8 p.m., and will be held again on Saturday from 10-11:30 a.m. before funeral services start at noon. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, November 14, 2009 at 12:00 pm at 1375 West 6785 South at the West Jordan River Stake Center.
Utah's congressional delegation, the governor and the president of the LDS church are expected to attend services for Nemelka on Saturday.
"Aaron was a man of few words but deep feelings and a gentle disposition," the Associated Press reported. "His beautiful smile and cheerful, fun-loving personality endeared him to his many friends and family members."
