Aaron Hernandez: Former NFL star attacks, beats up another inmate in jail

Former NFL star Aaron Hernandez reportedly attacked and badly beat up another inmate at the Bristol County Jail on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2014, according to TMZ. Sources have said that the former tight end for the New England Patriots got a hold of a guy in a hallway and took it to him.

Hernandez is segregated from the general population most of the time, and usually is in solitary so that there won't be any issues with other inmates. It appears that is a good idea, but on Tuesday, he was given the freedom to walk in an isolated hallway.

During his way, Aaron Hernandez "somehow" came into contact with another inmate, recognized the guy, and proceeded to beat him down.

Apparently, the 24-year-old Hernandez and the other inmate had been verbally jawing with one another all day. One source told TMZ that the inmate had actually been harassing Hernandez constantly and it just got to the former tight end.

As of yet, there had been no word on any kind of repercussions or punishment for Hernandez after Tuesday's fight.
