"Ghost Adventures" cast member Nick Groff began hosting a new series on the Travel Channel's website this summer. The series which is known as "Ghost Fit" features Groff giving tips on fitness training and nutrition before he goes on a paranormal investigation. In an episode that was posted on Travel Channel's website yesterday, "Ghost Adventures" investigator Aaron Goodwin shares his pre-lockdown ritual.
Nick Groff is a member of the Ghost Adventures Crew and executive producer of the "Ghost Adventures" series. "Ghost Adventures" began as an independent documentary film that first aired on the Syfy Channel on July 27, 2007. The series follows paranormal investigators Zak Bagans, Nick Groff, and Aaron Goodwin as they explore alleged haunted locations.
The new episode of Groff's "Ghost Fit" features Aaron Goodwin. Goodwin talks about his pre-lockdown ritual and shares the four steps.
Every lockdown is different but they're dangerous in their own way. That is why I have developed my own pre-lockdown ritual.
First thing I do on lockdown day is buzz the noggin. Shaving my head is a mental preparation, when I shave my head it is time to go to the hunt, it is time to get serious, it is time to talk to the spirits. It is kind of like fresh cut, fresh hunt.
My pre-lockdown ritual for a meal is steak, mashed potato or baked potato, and some vegetables. When we hunt on these lockdowns, it's no joke, it's scary, I've almost died three times. So it could be my last meal.
One of my lockdown rituals is buying a coffee. I drink about a quarter of it on the way and then I leave it in the car and as soon as I'm done with the lockdown in the morning when I walk out, there is a fresh cold cup coffee ready for me to chug. It is like a weird reward for me.
I am not prepared for lockdown until I'm locked and loaded and everything is in my vest. When this vest comes on it is time for hunting. It's like a military guy putting his bulletproof vest on or his gear except instead for a set of ammo I'm using ghost gear.
