Every year, Aaron Animal Clinic in Parma offers free exams for pets that belong to senior citizens or low income families. Dr. Sheik Rahman DVM has been hosting this program for over a decade. The program usually runs through the winter holiday season.
This year, Dr. Rahman has extended the free exam program to run through the end of February. In addition to the free exam, pets seven years of age and older will get a free blood pressure check.
Please help spread the word to seniors and other pet owners in need of assistance so they can take advantage of this great program.
Aaron Animal Clinic also offers year round discounts to any pet that has been adopted from the Parma Animal Shelter and gives free initial exams and rabies vaccinations to any pet that has been adopted from any other local shelter.
In addition to providing veterinary care for cats and dogs, the clinic cares for a wide variety of pets, including iguanas, birds, ferrets, rabbits and other exotics.
Dr. Rahman hasn’t forgotten that February is National Pet Dental Health month. He is offering reduced rates through March for pet dental procedures. He will ultrasonically clean, polish and apply a fluoride treatment to your pet’s teeth.
Dr. Rahman recommends a yearly dental check-up and teeth cleaning as necessary. It’s important to keep your pet’s teeth in good condition, because the build-up of plaque and tartar harbor bacteria that can cause heart, liver and kidney disease. See the articles listed below about pet dental health for more information on how to care for your pet’s teeth.
