AAHGS Central Maryland chapter, Columbia, Maryland, 19 November

The November meeting of the Central Maryland chapter of the Afro-American Historical and Genealogical Society (AAHGS) will be held in Columbia, Maryland, this Saturday, on 19 November 2011. The meeting will be held at the Owen Brown Community Center, at 6800 Cradlerock Way, Columbia, Maryland 21045, and will start at 1:00pm.

This month's lecture will be "From Websites to Webinars, From Facebook to Twitter: The Future of African American Genealogy Resources Online," presented by Angela Walton-Raji.

Attendees will also see pictures of the chapter's recent tour of the new African American Civil War Museum and learn about the astounding discovery of one of the members.
