After a comment received from a reader of the Long Island Frugal Living Examiner, another fantastic money saving and cash back earning website has been found and fallen in love with! Aafter is not just a cash back website, it is also a Search engine. The difference between Aafter and other search engines: advertisers are not selected based on their ability to pay the search engine, rather they are selected by the VALUE they offer to people using the search engine. This system allows Aafter and retailers to offer great brands at the lowest on line prices, because without having to pay tons of money to advertise on Aafter, they are able to pass the savings onto the customers!!! When shoppers use Aafter, they save money and stop the Internet price inflation!

How does it work? Visit Aafter, enter in something to search for and the results are listed based on the best deals for AND what the cash back percentage will be if purchased. The ones listed with a blue background are sponsored and show the percentage of cash back that can be earned, then the natural results. If cash back is the goal, choose the sponsored links. The "natural" ones without the blue background are just the best deals out on the Internet. Simple and easy.

Now, the navigation in the member section is a bit tricky to find things in. People DO HAVE TO SIGN UP, it requires an email to be entered. Once the email is entered, a member can start earning cash back immediately AND right now, signing up will get new members $2.50 to start off with. Once an account reaches $5.00, it can be redeemed by requesting a check or paid through PayPal. Once signed up, an email is sent, letting you know the sign in and password. My recommendation is to log out, press forgot password when logging back in and they will send a new password through email, collect the new password and enter it. Then click on CLAIM once signed in, scroll down to Change Password and update it. Everything is found under CLAIM that pertains to the account.

It can take up to 60 days for purchases to go from pending to available, as there are procedures that need to be done behind the scenes between the stores and Aafter. This program can also be signed up for through facebook by adding the application to a profile.
