A Yawn Worth Yelling releases official video for 'Heart Stuck'

Yesterday (July 2nd) the fine young gentlemen at A Yawn Worth Yelling placed some new visuals to their most recent effort "Nights Like These." (Read the full review HERE.)

"Heart Stuck" is an energetic, dense track of upbeat guitar licks and time variance that has been the signature of the San Jose quartet. A self-produced project, AYWY relied on videographers Nick Domez, Andrea Galvez and Mark Stover along with singer/guitarist Johannes Heine who shot and edited the video.

The short film hosts a series of cuts that feature band members in the studio, in street scenes and one the beach with the Golden Gate Bridge looming in the background. The visuals are representative of the song's lyrics - a heartbreaking tale of uncompromising love of the bay area, juxtaposed by the forces that tried to pull the narrator away ("We spent the day waving fog off golden gates towards San Jose").

"Nights Like These" is the companion release to the 6-song, "Feral" E.P. The releases span the first half of 2014 - "Feral" seeing a release in January, "Nights Like These" getting its release later this spring. Both releases can be heard and downloaded via A Yawn Worth Yelling's bandcamp page, or
