What would happen if all of the internet would finally decide to croak? Well, the world or at least the United States would be in despair. For other countries, this would not be of anything noticeable. Yes, the internet is used for a lot of things, but for the most part, social media. Everywhere one looks, social media is there. Look at cellular devices, Facebook, Twitter, Google +, all integrated into the hands of millions. Everything is easier than it has ever been before where one can simply post at status with the voice. Everything is at one click of a button. Now, what would those people do if social media was wiped out?
For most people, most likely nothing. People still hold jobs and talk to people face to face more than to a computer screen. Things would go back to a time where people picked up the phone to call one another. For some people, this blackout would be the most devastating thing in their lives. Some people live on the internet, with friends, and made up worlds (not saying that is a bad thing, we all make friends differently). Some may even forget how to interact with the world around them. Well, the good news is, we do not have to worry about that anytime soon much like when are star (the sun) decides to die.
