A wholesome love for our Heavenly Father that has gone in the wind

Have you ever taken the time to gaze out your window and look out onto the sky? When was the last time you drove through the back roads just to admire the trees and open land? Why do people move with other people but not flow along with the wind? Where do you see yourself when you are near death? Are you content with the life you have lived thus far? If you should die tomorrow, are you satisfied with the choices you’ve made? If not, try to rectify these issues with prayer and reflection.

There is this lost art of appreciation for things people seem to overlook or disregard as nothing of any significance. Instead people idolize over celebrities, musicians and political figures. Humanity has become more of a dogmatic disposition, filled with people stomping on others on their way to the top. There is ridden nature of good and gentile kindness towards each other. There is major escalation in which people are clutching their cellular devices and over-priced gadgets, while simultaneously turning away from the only One they should be in constant communication with.

With every new day that passes, it seems as though as a human population, we are drifting farther away from our Heavenly Father, with no intentions of returning back to Him. Why do so many people find love for their physical possessions but not for our Creator?

Ignorance for not knowing God is no excuse for today’s innovative way of life. There are many means to seek God, whether it is through a church, the Bible, the internet or through another person. The reason for this declination of faith is not that we are unaware or “blind”, but rather purely indolent. Nothing is more sinful than spiritual idleness.

Even those who claim to be followers of Jesus Christ are not carrying out their duties to God. Jesus Christ has already given us all the information we need to enter the Kingdom of God. It is our job to say in contact with God and work hard to get there. You cannot just claim “belief” in Jesus and think He is your only ticket to enter Heaven. It is more than just empty words. There is a path of utmost modesty and righteousness that you must seek. You must pray and repent continuously.

There is no such thing as, “enough” or “good enough”. No man on earth is “good enough”. We are all sinners, who continue to sin each day of our short blimps of being. Fret not about the inevitability of sin, but rather humble yourself towards God. Explain to Him your incessant sin and ask for His help to overcome it. For those who think you have nothing to repent for, think again. We all do something wrong, whether big or small, seen or unseen. Repent and repent again.

We are living in troubling times and we must not waste any more moments of living, with sin devoid of repentance. Take each day as if it is the ultimate end. Pray to God and be sincere. God knows the pure of hearts from the evil ones.
