A walk in Prospect Park

See also

All the parks in New York City are beginning to come to live with their flowers and springtime beauty. Prospect Park in Brooklyn is no exception to this.

Prospect Park is about five hundred eighty five acres of nature. It is just over two hundred acres smaller than Central Park in Manhattan. It contains Brooklyn's only forest, the Prospect Park Zoo, and it hosts the Celebrate Brooklyn Performing Arts Festival. It is great for hiking, running, a picnic, and has a kid playground. It is also close to the Brooklyn Botanical Garden and the Brooklyn Museum. Perhaps one day here is not enough with all that it has to offer.

Stay tuned. As spring continues, there will be more pictures added to see the park's natural beauty.
