“As musicians it’s important for us to do our part to make music that we hope everyone will like, but it’s also just as important for people to take a minute to listen to a song or maybe even make the effort to come to a show! It helps us out and it’s also fun to come to shows and just hang out and meet people. Basically, what we’re saying is local music thrives through the people who take the time to listen to it! It helps us out and who knows? You might find a local band or musician that you really come to like. And since it’s local, it's much more personable and easy to contact the artists and even make friends!” – Orlando band Akazia
