A UFO showed up over a baseball stadium during a minor league game in Vancouver and for some reason it changed the luck drastically for one of the teams. The UFO, which hovered above the right field, got the attention of the spectators who took to picture taking and then to Twitter to spread the word, according to Canada.com on Sept. 9.
The six inning changed when this UFO made its appearance high in the night sky. It was triangular in shape and had glowing lights. If you didn’t know better you’d swear it sent down some cosmic rays to change the direction of the baseball game. The Vancouver Canadians scored four runs as soon as this UFO presented itself as a faraway spectator of the Nat Bailey Stadium game.
That same team went on to win 5-1 over their opponents, the Everett Aqua Sox, prompting many to wonder if this was a coincidence or some kind of intervention from the hovering ship. Twitter lit up with tweets and pictures of the visiting UFO, even the winning team tweeted about the rumor that the ship somehow was on their side.
It was an important game for these teams as this was the first game of the best-of-three North Division final between the two opponents. One Twitter user described how the UFO moved up and down over the crowd of almost 2,000 watching this division play-off game.
Skeptics called the UFO everything from a weather balloon to a passenger jet, but it is still unidentified as of today. This isn’t the first time aliens were suspected of visiting one of the earthling’s sports games. Back in 2011, a UFO was reported seen over a NFL game in the night sky over St. Louis.
