Beyoncė, one of America’s success stories, is a woman whose golden voice and sensuality brought fame. It is the story of the American dream, an eight-year old young woman who wanted to become a superstar. Beyoncė’s enormous talent made her wishes come true.

Beyoncė Giselle Knowles, born September 4, 1981, became involved in a singing at the age of eight. She formed an all-female quartet as lead singer, and they later became known as Destiny's Child.

Their appearance on Star Search rewarded them to a contract with Columbia Records.Destiny's Child first tour sold-out (1997) and served as a glimpse into her future.

Destiny’s Child gained momentum with the release of their rhythm and blues album Destiny’s Child. This became the number one single on the pop charts with “Bills, Bills, Bills” and “Say My Name.”

They were not only a success in the United States but also in Europe. Their next release “The Writing on the Wall” (1999) was even bigger with three top-ten hits on Billboard rhythm and blues.

Later Destiny’s Child joined Christina Aguilera’s summer tour (2000). They recorded a third album, Survivor (2004) and Beyonce won five Grammy Awards.

With a successful singing career, Beyoncė began acting. She starred in MTV’S Carmen: A Hip Hopera (2001) and co-starred with Mike Myers in the spy parody Gold Member (2002).

It was time for Beyoncė to begin her solo artist with the successful release of her first album “Dangerously in Love” (2003).

Superstar in every aspect of the word, Beyoncė performs to sold-out shows. Beyoncė’s appeal is universal as proved by her successful world tours. One of the top-selling singers, Beyoncė’s many awards proves her talents.
