On Saturday, March 15 at 7 p.m., The Cultural Center Theater is proud to present A Traditional Irish Hooley in honor of St. Patrick’s Day. If you loved the Celtic Christmas presentation last December, you will be delighted to know that Trina and Ian return to the Cultural Center Theater Stage.

Trina and Ian and Wolfhound will bring a traditional Irish house party to the theater. The stage will be set up as a living area... the dancers and musicians are "family and guests". There will be storytelling, song, dance and of course, pipers. Trina sings and plays fifes, flutes and penny-whistles. She has also composed and arranged music for fife and drum as well as American and Celtic Folk Bands. A fiddler by trade, Ian also sings and plays the tenor banjo and guitar. Trina and Ian teach, perform and are as comfortable in the pub or kitchen as they are on a stage. They are humble and happy to share the living traditions of Irish and Irish-American Music, Culture and Tradition with the world.

Tickets are $15 for Cultural Center members, $17 for non-members and $20 for all on the day of the performance. Purchases can be made online at or at The Cultural Center Box Office, which is located at 2280 Aaron Street in Port Charlotte. They are open from 9am to 4pm Monday through Friday, and one hour before any show. You can also call them at (941) 625-4175 x221 for more information.
