A Taste of Mayhem adds second stage bands to Denver Mayhem Fest '14

When the annual Rockstar Energy Drink Mayhem Festival rolls into Denver on July 14, it will feature only the four headlining bands - Korn, Avenged Sevenfold, Asking Alexandria, and Trivium, plus Ice T's Body Count. But fans can now catch all the second stage bands a day earlier when A Taste Of Mayhem hits the Fillmore Auditorium on Sunday, July 13.

Effectively splitting Mayhem Fest into two days, the show will feature the full second stage line up of Cannibal Corpse, Texas Hippie Coalition, Suicide Silence, Miss May I, Emmure, Mushroomhead, Darkest Hour, Veil Of Maya, Upon A Burning Body, Ill Nino, Wretched, Islander, Erimha, and King810.

Doors will open at 1:30 pm for the Sunday show, suggesting that most bands will get significantly more stage time than Mayhem's typical 20 minute afternoon slots. Tickets are only $25 for the full day of metal madness, and Cannibal Corpse's headlining set is sure to be one of the most outrageous performances of the entire summer, making this a can't-miss concert for all Colorado metaldom.

Hardcore metalheads might even consider this new show superior to the main stage roster, making Denver one of the few lucky cities to get longer sets and the best possible venues. Monday's show will be at Red Rocks, and tickets are available for $65-85 for GA and most seats. Tickets for Sunday's show go on sale this Friday, April 25, at 10am. See Ticketmaster.com for full information for both shows.
